Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using BoonDogger's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
2. Service Description
BoonDogger provides a platform where users can share and discover free camping locations ("Boondocking Sites"). These locations are entirely user-generated, and BoonDogger does not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, safety, or legality of any listed site.
3. Payment Terms
A commission may be retained by BoonDogger for facilitating the transaction related to Tips to cover its processing fees and the cost of running the service.
Payments to creators will be made once per month via PayPal or Venmo (depending on the user's account configuration) when their account balance reaches a minimum of $20. BoonDogger is not responsible for any delays or issues with payment processing beyond its control.
4. Subscription Terms
BoonDogger offers a premium subscription service ("Private Network Membership") for $4/month. The subscription provides access to exclusive features including:
- Private network creation and management
- Private location sharing
- Exclusive camping group formation
Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. No refunds will be provided for partial months. Upon cancellation, premium features will remain accessible until the end of the current billing period.
5. Content License and Ownership
By posting content on BoonDogger, including but not limited to location information, descriptions, photographs, reviews, and comments ("User Content"), you grant BoonDogger a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content in any media format or channel.
For images and photographs specifically, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or have secured all necessary rights to grant this license
- The content does not infringe on any third party's rights
- You grant BoonDogger permission to use these images for promotional purposes
- You agree that other users may view and access these images as part of the service
6. Disclaimer of Liability
User Acknowledgment: You understand and agree that all locations listed on BoonDogger are user-submitted and BoonDogger does not investigate, verify, or warrant the accuracy, safety, legality, or quality of any Boondocking Site.
Assumption of Risk: By using BoonDogger to find and visit any location, you assume full responsibility for any risks, including but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, legal consequences, or any other harm that might occur. You acknowledge that you are camping at your own risk.
Waiver of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, BoonDogger, its officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages.
7. User Conduct
Users must provide accurate and truthful information when sharing locations.
Users are responsible for ensuring that they comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations when camping or sharing locations.
8. Account Termination
BoonDogger reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the service, for any reason at any time.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10. Changes to Terms
BoonDogger reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
